摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure a flow rate continuously and highly accurately, by directly obtaining the flow rate of powder from the behavior of the powder, which is moving in a discharge pipe, and obtaining the flow rate of the powder based on the change in weight of a lock hopper when the supply of the powder is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Powder is supplied to a hopper 2 (A) through a valve 1 (B). Pressure is applied through a compressing line 14. The powder is supplied to a hopper 4 through a valve 3 (B). The specified amount of the powder is taken out with a feeder 5. The powder is continuously measured with a powder flowmeter 6. The weight of the hopper 4 (B) is measured with a load cell 7. The measured value undergoes time differentiation in an operating device 8. When the powder in the hopper becomes less than the specified amount, the valve 3 is opened, and the powder is received. During the time the powder is being received or after the powder has been received, a value 8a of the time differentiation of the weight of the hopper 4 is not adopted. The powder flow rate is obtained by correlation operation of an indicated value 6a of the flow rate signal of the flowmeter 6 and the differential value 8a. Meanwhile, when it is judged that the powder is not received from the hopper 2, the differential value 8a is made to be the flow rate. The rotation of the feeder is controlled by the operations of the flow rate and demand 17, and the constant amount is supplied stably.
