PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition giving little irritation to the skin, free from generation of putrid smell and having excellent degradation resistance, by using a specific benzotriazole compound and specific p-oxybenzoic acid ester as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) one or more kinds of benzotriazole compounds of formula I {X is H, OH, methyl, mercapto or carboxyl; Y is H, OH or bis(2-ethylhexyl)aminomethyl [provided that Y is OH or bis(2-ethylhexyl)aminomethyl when X is H and Y is H when X is other than H]} and (B) one or more kinds of p-oxybenzoic acid compounds of formula II (R is benzyl or 1-9C alkyl). |
