PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction of a color slippage in the carrying direction of transfer paper of each color by generating a measuring pattern of each color, based on a writing timing of each color as a reference, and also outputting the measuring pattern by a recorder of the upstream side in the advance direction of a transfer belt, to the upstream and the downstream sides of the transfer belt, from the measuring pattern of a recorder of the downstream side. CONSTITUTION:In each recorder, an image for a pattern which has been converted to a developed image by a signal from an image signal generating means for the pattern to the outside of a transfer paper area is transferred to a transfer belt 21 and positioned at an interval of (a) (mm), respectively. Image 28Bk, C, M and Y for the pattern pass through a sensor 27 successively in accordance with the movement of the belt, and detected by the sensor 27. When each image position of Bk, C, M and Y has been dislocated on the transfer paper due to a variance of each photosensitive body position, and the variance of a linear velocity of the photosensitive body and the transfer belt, a detecting pattern is also dislocated, and by measuring the interval of this detecting pattern, a dislocation quantity of an image can be detected. In such a way, a color shift can be reduced without being influenced by the contamination of the transfer belt, the variance of sensitivity, etc. |
