PURPOSE:To remove bags without damaging fruits, by downward laying axial centers of fruits covered with bags, cutting fastening parts of the bags and separating the bags from the fruits while adsorbing both side parts and bottom part of the bags on an adsorbing device. CONSTITUTION:A fruit F such as pear which is covered with a bag, grown and harvested is sent to a fruit selecting position and a bag B is removed from the fruit. In the operation, the fruit F is placed on a saucer 16 fixed to a conveyor with laying the axial center downward. Then an opening part of bag B fastened to the axial center by a safety catch is cut by the cutters 34-36, the bag B is extended while sucking both sides and bottom of the bag B by an adsorbing and separating device 49 and raised to separate the bag B from the fruit F.
