PURPOSE:To seek to improve electrical characteristic by arranging a guide means neighboring plural conductors and forming a tape-shaped cable by covering the periphery with a covering material collectively and next cutting the edge of the tape-shaped cable by contacting the cutter blade of a slitter device to the guide means. CONSTITUTION:A guide means 20 is arranged neighboring a conductor located at the most outside position among plural conductors 10 and its periphery is covered along with plural conductors 10 collectively with the covering material so as to form a tape-shaped cable T. Next, the edge of the tape-shaped cable T is cut by contacting cutter blades 16, 18 of a slitter device to the guide means 20, thus a flat cable in the specified width is manufactured. Hereby the distance wo between the conductor located at the most outside position among the conductor 10 group and the flat cable is limited in the specified value and excellent electrical characteristic can be obtained.
