PURPOSE:To simply and quickly contrive the evaluation and adjustment of a DC player by a simple constitution, by using an optical or magnetic disk which has recorded a simulated error signal of a set quantity. CONSTITUTION:There is no regularity in an error caused by such factors as a failure of the rotation accuracy of a spindle motor 14 of a DC player device, a miss at the time of forming a CD, or eccentricity of a disk, etc. At the stage of mastering at the time of manufacturing the DC, when for instance, a simulated error of a prescribed error rate corresponding to each factor is contained in an original signal, an error of a signal of each of the device can be allowed to have the regularity. By reproducing this recording and observing a signal waveform of each part of the device such as a demodulator 20, etc., by an oscilloscope, the error rate can be measured. As a result, by a simple constitution with requires no error generator, an overall adjustment containing an output system can be executed from a detecting part of the device.
