PURPOSE:To reduce a yaw angle of a head slider, and to realize a high service lift of a recorder by constituting the titled mechanism so that a carriage loaded with a recording and reproducing head is moved in parallel by two pieces of oscillating arms which have the same length, and also, extend in parallel. CONSTITUTION:When a current flows to a voice coil 5, a head slider 2a is moved and positioned onto a recording track 12b of the inner periphery from on a recording track 12a of the outer periphery of a recording disk 12. In this case, the movement of the head slider 2a, namely, the movement of a carriage 20 is executed due to a fact that both oscillating arms 21a, 21b rocking centering around pivot axes 25a, 25b, respectively of a base 10 side, and the carriage 20 moves in an attitude being parallel to a straight line S which has linked the pivot axes 25a, 25b. In this case, a yaw angle B made by a vector 13b in the tangential direction of the recording track 12b and the direction of the head slider 2a becomes extremely small, the head slider is stabilized and the long service life of the recorder is realized.
