PURPOSE:To stabilize servo-leading-in, and also, to prevent the generation of a stationary error at the time of a follow-up operation, by providing a switch means for applying a bias signal to an objective lens driving signal in case an optical disk device is provided horizontally. CONSTITUTION:When a focus leading-in signal 7S is not inputted even when the time t0 which has been set in advance elapses, a control circuit 20 judges that an attitude of a disk 1 is horizontal, outputs a switch switching signal 20S2 and turns on a switch 50, and also, outputs a focus leading-in command 20S1 again. The leading-in command 20S1 is differentiated by a driving signal generating circuit 30, and to an objective lens driving signal 30S consisting of an outputted instantaneous pulse signal and a signal which succeeds said signal and whose level is lower than that of its instantaneous pulse signal, a bias signal 40S outputted from a bias signal generating circuit 40 is added and supplied to a driver circuit 6, and an objective lens 2a is driven surely.
