PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive, readily producible oxide porcelain material for pyroelectric element, having low specific inductive capacity and high coefficient of pyroelectricity, by blending PbO with ZrO2, TiO2, Nb2O5, Ta2O5, Sb2O3 and MnO2 in a given ratio, molding and burning. CONSTITUTION:PbO is blended with ZrO2, TiO2, Nb2O5, Ta2O5, Sb2O3 and MnO2 in such a way that a porcelain material having a composition shown by the formula (Me is Nb, Ta or Sb; A/B=1-0.7; alpha=1/2-2/3; beta=1/2-1/3; x=0.02-0.2; y=0.02-0.4; z=0.4-0.96) is obtained. Then the blended raw material is dried, fired, ground, granulated, press molded and burnt at about 1,100-1,250 deg.C to give the aimed oxide porcelain material for pyroelectric element. Consequently, the oxide porcelain material for pyroelectric element, having a high index of pyroelectric effect output can be produced without requiring an expensive raw material. |
