PURPOSE:To improve safety and economical efficiency by forming a windshield with three layers of a glass sheet layer, a polyvinyl butyral sheet layer, and a biaxially oriented methacrylic resin sheet layer and placing the glass sheet layer on the projecting face side of a curved face. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of laminated glass which is formed by interposing a polyvinyl butyral sheet in the middle is used for the windshield of an automobile in order to improve the safety of glass. In this case, the windshield is basically formed with three layers of a glass sheet layer 1, a polyvinyl butyral sheet layer 2, and a biaxially oriented methacrylic resin sheet layer 3. And, the glass sheet layer 1 is placed on the projecting face side of a curved face. In this case, the thickness of the sheet layer 1 is set at 2-6 mm, the sheet layer 2 at 0.4-1.5 mm, and the sheet layer 3 at 0.2-2 mm, while the ratio of thickness of the sheet layer 1 to the sheet layer 3 being set at 1.5 or more.
