PURPOSE:To enable coating of an adequate amt. of a release agent to a heat roller and to form the supplying and coating means themselves into a construction resistant to staining by pressing an oil-impregnated roller having porous fluoroplastic as an oil-impregnated layer to the heat roller. CONSTITUTION:The oil-impregnated roller 10 is so constituted that said roller is pressed to the heat roller via supporting rollers 13a, 13b by their own weights and is thereby driven to rotate. Silicone coil is impregnated in the porous fluoroplastic layer 10c formed on the outside peripheral of an arbor 10b made of a metal. The fluoroplastic layer 10c is elastically deformed by the pressurized contact force upon the heat roller to bleed out the silicone oil. This oil is uniformly coated on the peripheral face of the heat roller as the oil-impregnated roller is driven to rotate. The peripheral face of the heat roller is thereby maintained always clean. |
