PURPOSE:To allow a slider to have a shield effect against an external noise, and to improve the shield effect by forming an adjacent part of a recording and reproducing core of the slider by a magnetic material, and also, insulating magnetically the core and the slider. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic material slider formed by ferrite is stuck and formed by glass bonding at the rear end part side of a ceramic slider 1 of a nonmagnetic material and buoyancy is generated, and in one of two pieces of rails, a recording and reproducing core 2 is embedded in a ferrite part by glass bonding. Also, between a magnetic material slider 3 formed by ferrite and the recording and reproducing core 2, a glass bonding layer of scores of 10mum is provided, and separated magnetically. According to this structure, the magnetic material slider 3 performs a function of a shield plate against an external noise, and the shield effect is improved.
