PURPOSE:To enable repeated use and restraining a rise in cost, by using as an electric heat-generating sheet a material which comprises a heat-generating layer comprising a conductor layer and a resistor layer on a base sheet. CONSTITUTION:An electric heat-generating sheet A comprises a base sheet 1 on one side of which is provided a heat-generating layer 4 comprising a conductor layer 2 and a resistor layer 3. On the electric heat-generating sheet A provided in the shape of a loop form belt and intermittently rotatively fed by some appropriate rolls 9, a thermal transfer sheet B and an image-receiving sheet C intermittently moved at the same velocity as the sheet A are superimposed, and these three layers are brought into close contact with each other by a platen roll 10 or the like. A voltage is applied on an electrode unit 7 provided on the side of the sheet 4 while the unit 7 is scanningly moved in a main scanning direction (perpendicular direction) relative to the moving direction of the three layers, thereby reproducing an image on the sheet C. Thus, while the sheet B and the sheet C are used only one time, the electric heat- generating sheet A, being expensive, can be repeatedly used for a number of times. |
