PURPOSE:To simplify the connection between a liquid crystal panel and a drive circuit substrate and to reduce man-hour by separating the drive circuits for signal electrodes into individual ones corresponding to the respective colors of color filters, disposing them within a single substrate, and arranging the output terminals of said drive circuits in straight line corresponding to the disposition of the color filters. CONSTITUTION:On both sides of the output terminal 23 of signal electrodes 12, 14, 15 disposed close to each other in the central part of a column drive circuit substrate 17, the respective driving LSIs 19, 20, 21 for R(red), G(green), B(blue) are mounted separately. Outputs from the respective R-/G-/B-driving LSI 19, 20, 21 are alternately connected to an output terminal 18. The output of the B-driving LSI 21 is made cross with other output lines by means of through holes 22, 22'. Also, the supplies of power, data, and control signal to the respective LSIs 19, 20, 21 are achieved through a connector 24.
