CYLINDRICAL MAGNET FOR MAGNET ROLL AND MANUFACTURE OF MAGNET ROLL USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To facilitate the pole alignment of a cylindrical magnet while minimizing the position slip of interpole angle of a magnet roll for reducing the fluctuation of the magnet force in the long direction by a method wherein a notch for pole-positioning is provided in the long direction of the cylindrical magnet between auxiliary poles with relatively low magnetic force of the magnet. CONSTITUTION:A notch 5 for pole-positioning is provided in the long direction of a cylindrical magnet 4 between auxiliary poles with relatively low magnetic force of said magnet 4. Besides, the cylindrical magnet 4 is held in the specified pole position using jigs 7 to manufacture a magnet roll by insertion-fixing a shaft 8. For example, said cylindrical magnet 4 made of resin or rubber is held in the specified position by two jigs 7 made into almost C shape. At this time, the jigs 7 can hold said magnet 4 in the specified position using the engagement with the notch 5.
