PURPOSE:To shorten slip processing time and to improve the throughput of a terminal equipment by arranging fields necessary for succeeding edition, working, check, etc., on the leading read position on a slip and allowing an I/O device to execute various processing in parallel with slip reading operation. CONSTITUTION:Image data read out by an image scanner 1 in a slip processing system are stored in an image data storing memory 3 and the memory 3 is always monitored by an image field segmenting/OCR recognizing mechanism 2. At the time of storing image data corresponding to one field of the memory 3, the image field is sequentially segmented, OCR recognition is executed and a recognized result is displayed on a specified display position of a display 6. Transfer amount 13 necessary for the operation of the succeeding cash paying machine and a field group 14 unnecessary for the operation of the cash paying machine are arranged on the slip 11 to be used for the system and the I/O device for executing the edition, working, check, etc., of respective fields in parallel with reading operation is driven. |
