<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a coated optical fiber from being drawn into wirings at the time of extending the line by fixing a coated optical fiber through a wiring clamper, a connector housing and a filler fixing agent. CONSTITUTION:A coated optical fiber 3 is led from the end of a wire 2, and an optical connector 4 is attached to the end. The exposed part of the wire 3 is fixed by a filler fixing material 6 to a connector housing 5. The end of the wire 2 is removably connected by a wiring clamper 10 to the rear end of the housing 5. Then, a composite cable 1 is extended between steel towers by utilizing a pooling wire, not shown. When a wire clamp 10 is removed, after the extension, to isolate the extended part of the wiring 2 at the time of extension, a tension acting on the fiber becomes zero and the wire is drawn into the wire 2. Thus, the unnecessary part of the wire 2 is cut. The housing 5 is connected by other clamper 10 in this state, a composite cable of next zone is bonded by a jumper wire to the wiring 2 to connect the fiber 3.</p> |
