<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a device which requires writing operation by using a superconductive material on the way of an optical path. CONSTITUTION:Incident light 5 is passed through a superconductive material thin film 3 to obtain transmitted light (output light) 6. Then superconduction- normal conduction transition is obtained by turning on and off a current supplied to the superconductive material thin film 3 and the spectrum of the transmitted light 6 is varied by this normal conduction/superconduction transition. Further, light which is inputted from a light source 7 is changed in two ways by an array 8 of superconductive materials which are arrayed finely in a line. Those two kinds of output light are used to vary the charge conductivity on the surface of a photosensitive drum 9 to control whether or not toner is stuck. Consequently, the ON/OFF reaction speed of the switch array is increased and the structure is simplified.</p> |
