PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of a false signal, moire, etc., by providing an image forming lens which forms an image on an image receiving means and an optical low-pass filter whose response becomes zero at or almost at a specific spatial frequency. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with the image forming lens 8 which forms the image on the image receiving means for sampling discretely and spatially bodies having large spectrum components at the specific spatial frequency and the optical low-pass filter 9 whose response becomes zero at or almost at the spatial frequency. Therefore, the spatial frequency spectrum component of an object image which causes the generation of a intense false signal, moire, etc., is reduced greatly. Consequently, the false signal, moire, etc., are reduced greatly.
