PURPOSE:To prevent mulfunction by converting output signals from an oscillation circuit to different frequency-division ratio data by a variable frequency divider successively, storing a desired frequency division ratio in a memory, and executing the frequency division in accordance with following division ratio. CONSTITUTION:When electronic equipments that are controlled with control signals of different formats are disposed close to each other, and when the equipments are operated erroneously under the remote control, a change-over switch 5 is switched as shown by the broken line, a controller 8 is operated, and frequency division ratio data different from each other are transmitted successively to the variable frequency divider 4. Accordingly, the most suitable carrier frequency with which only the electronic equipment that is operated essentially is selected and is stored in a frequency division ratio memory 7. Thereafter, as far as the switch 5 is in the status shown by the broken line, the carrier signal of the stored frequency is read out from there 7 by a controller 8 from the remote control device, so that only the electronic equipment that should be controlled is controlled. In such a way, the mulfunction is prevented.
