PURPOSE:To run a single moving chip forward and rearward, by providing first and second supersonic vibration units and first and second pressure contact/ release selection means. CONSTITUTION:The body 7 of a rotary supersonic motor 6 for running a single rotor 14 forward and rearward comprises a cup type casing 8 and a cover body 9. A rotary shaft 10 is supported rotatably by means of bearings 11-12 for the casing 8 and the cover body 9, and a rotor 14 is provided on the outer circumference of an annular coupling link 13. First and second supersonic vibration units 15, 16 are mounted respectively on the upper and lower sections of the rotor 14 reciprocally in axial direction through sliding members 17, 18. The vibration units 15, 16 comprise vibration boards 21, 24, coils 22, 25 and vibration chips 23, 26, respectively. Furthermore, a pressure contact/release switching means 32, 35 are provided and contacted with the sliding members 17, 18. Consequently, rotary direction of the motor 6 is selected and switched by a signal fed from a controller 27. |
