<p>PURPOSE:To enable easy taking out and removal of a transfer material in an any jam state by supporting a press-contact roller to an openable/closable supporting member pivotally fitted to a fixing device. CONSTITUTION:The press-contact roller 7 opposite to a paper discharge roller 6 of the fixing device 1 used in an image forming device which conveys the transfer material fixed by the pinching action of the roller 6 and the roller 7 in pressurized contact with the roller 6 to the outside of the device and discharge the paper is pivotally supported at both shaft ends in long holes 2B of perpendicular walls 2A formed at both side ends of the supporting member 2. The roller 7 is moved and retreated from the upper part of the roller 6 to the position shown by an alternate long and short dash line when the member 2 is turned clockwise around a revolving shaft unit 3 after a mounting screw is removed. The conveyance path for the transfer material is thereby fully opened.</p> |
