<p>PURPOSE:To completely remove the remaining material of a sheath layer by stopping cutting of the sheath layer before it arrives at a core wire. CONSTITUTION:When a start button is pressed after a transmission line 2 is locked, hydraulic oil of a cylinder 45 is removed, and rollers 44 hold the line 2 by the force of a spring 46. Simultaneously, a motor 41 is rotated, and a cutter holder 38 is rotated at a slow speed. A hydraulic cylinder 53 simultaneously moves rearward a rod 51. This operation moves forward a cutter base 50 through a lever 56 to an axial center O to cut an aluminum layer 10. A cutter 49 is so controlled at this time as to stop at a position slightly before the part 9 of a steel. Then, hydraulic oil is applied from a port 45b, the three rollers 33 clamp the layer 10, and a saddle 35 moves rearward by a cylinder 36 while a cutter holder 38 is being rotated. Thus, the remaining innermost layer 10 not cut is broken and stripped off from the line 2. Thus, the layer 10 can be removed without remaining at a step cutting position without damaging the steel part 9 of the core wire.</p> |
