PURPOSE:To release an operating part through a fixing unit and at the same time a series of movements for storing the operating part within a cooker by a method wherein a fixed condition releasing button arranged at one part of the operating surface is pushed when the operating part is to be stored. CONSTITUTION:An operating part 14 when not being used, is stored within a main body 10a of a cooking unit. As a fixed condition releasing button 17 is pushed, a shaft 18 is guided by a guide 19 and slid, an inclined part 27 is guided by a guide 25, a fixing unit 22 is pivoted upwardly around a center of a shaft 24 and released from a lock hole 29. An operating part 14 is rotated around a rotating shaft 15 toward an operator and a fixing part 23 for the fixing unit 22 is received by a receptor 31 of the fixing unit, and moved to be coincided with the lock hole 30, resulting in that a bent piece 22a of the fixing unit 22 is engaged and the operating part 14 is stopped. In order to store the operating part 14 within the main body 10a of the cooking unit, the fixing releasing button 17 is pushed, the fixing unit 22 is pivoted along a guide 25 at an inclined part 27 of the shaft 18. The fixing unit 22 is removed from the lock hole 30 and pushes the operating part 14. When the fixing unit 22 is aligned with the lock hole 29, the bent piece 22a of the fixing unit 22 is engaged and stopped under the force of a kick spring 28.
