PURPOSE:To confirm correcting positions without omission by displaying the correcting sections of an instruction sentence being a correction object and editing and outputting the page numbers of all pages as a list. CONSTITUTION:A source program in a new source program file 110 outputted by a editor subsystem 1 has a correcting section column at every instruction sentence. In an assembling list 400 edited and outputted by an assembler, display contents are respectively added to a changing instruction sentence, an additional instruction sentence and an instruction sentence arranged immediately after a deleting instruction sentence and the page numbers of all pages including the correcting instruction sentence are edited and outputted as a list. The contents of the processed instruction sentence in the correcting section column of the source program file is cleared by an erasing part 21 in the process for editing and outputting the instruction sentence to the list 400, and at the time of correcting a sentence in the file, the corrected instruction sentence can be discriminated.
