<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture products, uniform and of high quality, at a low cost in a mass production by forming a soft material skin in a form of recessed surface, applying a shape retaining solvent on the back side of a recessed surface of the soft material skin while the soft material skin is retained as it is in molding die, removing the soft material skin from a molding die after being heardened, covering a core material and an elastic material with the soft material skin and integrating them. CONSTITUTION:A soft material skin 10 such as natural leather, fabric or the like is molded into a given form, a form with a recessed surface 12, by press molding or the like. Then, the soft material skin 10 is sucked by vacuum pressure (-P) actuated on a channel 18 with many branches, adhered to a mold surface 14 and formed into a desired recessed surface form. While vacuum pressure (-P) is actuated continuously and the soft material skin 10 is adhered closely to the mold surface 14, shape retaining solution 20 is applied to the soft material skin. The soft material skin is removed from a molding die 16 after the soft material skin 10 is hardened. The soft material skin 10, even after being removed from the molding die 16, is retained in a given molding form with the recessed surface 12. Then, a core material 28 and an elastic material 30 are integrated with the soft material skin 10 removed from the molding die 16 and the desired soft material skin product with the recessed surface structure is completed.</p> |
