PURPOSE:To obtain the coil, to be sued for an oxide superconductor magnet having excellent workability and the suitability in installation by a method wherein a flexible sheet or a tape consisting of an oxide superconductor is formed into coil-like shape, and a heat treatment is conducted. CONSTITUTION:A flexible sheet or tape made of an oxide superconductor is formed into a coil-like shape, and a heat treatment is conducted thereon. For example, the slurry is moved to the slurry reservoir 2 of a doctor blade device, the slurry is made to flow on a carrier sheet 1 made of copper, and an oxide superconductor layer of 0.2 mm in thickness is formed. Besides, alumina slurry is moved to a slurry reservoir 3 and it is made to flow, and an electrically insulating layer is formed on the oxide superconductor sheet. After this insulating layer has been passed through a drying machine, it is cut in the width of 3 mm by a cutter knife 6 and wound up on a coil 8. After the above material has been sintered at 950 deg.C, it is dipped into an epoxy resin liquid, it is dried in the air, and the oxide superconductor coil, consisting of a copper layer 10, an oxide superconductor layer 11, an alumina insulating layer 12, and epoxy resin protective layer 13, is formed. |
