PURPOSE:To enhance the sealing accuracy by rotating a negative pole and a positive pole locating stage, and by inserting negative and positive poles in a bulb through a negative pole and a positive pole insertion mechanism, which are arranged in the form of a ring together with negative pole and positive pole locators. CONSTITUTION:A negative pole locating stage 2 is rotated, and negative poles C of different types are located using a plurality of negative pole locators selectively, while a positive pole locating stage 5 is rotated, and positive poles A of different types are located using a plurality of positive pole locators selectively. This provides good response to sealing of different types of X-ray tube. The stage 2 is rotated, and the negative poles C are inserted in a bulb B through a negative pole inserting mechanism 6, while the stage 5 is rotated, and the positive poles A are inserted in the bulb B through a positive pole inserting mechanism 7. This eliminates necessity for movement of the negative poles C and positive poles A in the transverse direction, that enhances sealing accuracy of the negative poles C and positive poles A.
