PURPOSE:To continue processing by interrupting normal processing at the time of detecting a parity error to write error identification data in a data area and then releasing the interruption. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reading out data from a RAM 263, a parity checker 211 checks a parity, and at the time of detecting a parity error, sends an interruption instructing signal to a CPU 201 to interrupt normal data processing, to save memory data generating the parity error and to store error ID data 'DD' in 16 bytes close to an address generating the parity error. After completing the interruption processing, the normal processing is restarted. Consequently, data processing can be continued after detecting the error and the failure analysis of the memory can be executed.
