PURPOSE:To provide unmanned adjusting operation by performing such operations automatically as to make constant the liquid temp. by cooling or heating the coating liquid, make constant the density of the coating liquid, and make constant the liquid level. CONSTITUTION:Coating liquid is supplied into an agitator tans 1 and forwarded to a coating tans 3 by a circulation pump 2. Part is used for coating on the inner surface of a glass tube 4, while another part is returned to the tank 1 as overflow in order to retain the liquid level constant. The liquid temp. in the tank 1 is sensed by a temp. sensor 12, and the coolant in a heat exchanger 10 is turned on and off through an adjusting gauge 13. The density is measured with a density meter 9, and binder is supplied from a binder spare tank 6 using a solenoid valve 8 so that a constant density is obtained through another adjusting gauge 14, and thus constant density is accomplished. In case the amount of coating liquid has reduced, the liquid level is sensed by a level sensor 11, and a pump 7 is driven so that a constant level is attained with the aid of a third adjusting gauge 15 so as to refill the spare coating liquid.
