PURPOSE:To carry out air conditioning conforming to the required load of each room by installing a revolution control means controlling the revolution of an engine of which revolution is set by a means for setting the revolution and a capacity control means controlling the capacity of compressors for rooms. CONSTITUTION:Compressors 2, 3 are connected to an engine 1 through electromagnetic clutches 25, 26. A refrigerant circuit making a round of an indoor side heat exchanger 4 and an outdoor side heat exchanger 6 from the compressor 2 is formed. The output terminal of a temp. sensor 9 in a room where the exchanger 4 is installed and the output terminal of a controller 11 are connected to the control terminal of the engine through a computing circuit 10, a revolution setting circuit 12, and a speed controller 29. The output terminal of the circuit 10 is connected to the input terminal of a capacity controller 13 which is connected to the compressor 2. Similarly, a refrigerant circuit making a round of an indoor side heat exchanger 14 and an outdoor side heat exchanger 16 from the compressor 3 is formed and a capacity controller 21 is connected to the compressor 3. At the capacity control parts of the compressors 2, 3 the flow amount of refrigerant is controlled by the control signals from the controllers 13 and 21.
