PURPOSE:To form a small and low-priced oscillatory type axial air-gap type motor by eliminating at least one coil of a coreless flat armature. CONSTITUTION:Motor casings 6, 7 serving also as stator yokes are fitted with bearings 8, 9, by which the rotating shaft 2' of a coreless flat armature 21 constituting a rotor is supported. Said coreless flat armature 21 lacks one of three armatures which it usually has, two air-core type armature coils 12-1 and 12-2 are arranged at a pitch of 120 deg. in said armature 21, and their outer peripheral parts are molded into an integral body by plastics so that said armature is formed into a discoidal shape. When a motor formed in this manner is rotated, the coreless flat armature 21 is eccentric and oscillates while revolving. Therefore, an oscillatory sound can be generated and a thickness can be thinned, even if any particular revolving plate is not provided.
