PURPOSE:To easily hold a treatment jig and an endoscope by a single hand, by providing a fixing means, which fixes the endoscope to a dental treatment apparatus in a freely detachable manner, to the leading end part of the endoscope having an observing optical system. CONSTITUTION:An endoscope 1 is equipped with an illuminating light guide 2, an objective lens 2, the first and second prism groups 4, 5 for converting light path, the solid image pickup element 7 opposed to the prism 5 through an incident lens 6, a signal cable 8 guiding the electric signal converted by the solid image pickup element 7 to a camera control unit and the channel 9 opened to a nozzle 9a at the leading end thereof. A fixing means 13 fixing the endoscope 1 to a dental treatment apparatus 14 in a freely detachable manner is provided to the leading end part 1a of the endoscope 1. By this constitution, the treatment apparatus and the endoscope can be easily held by a single hand and dental treatment can be simply performed under visual observation.
