PURPOSE:To make it possible to produce the title tape or sheet which can retain good adhesion, transparency and aging resistance at a small dose of radiation, by applying, by hot melting, a graft copolymer of an alkyl (meth) acrylate with a specified macromonomer to a substrate in the form of tape or sheet and irradiating it with an ionizing radiation. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive graft copolymer obtained by adding a macromonomer comprising a (meth)acrylate group-terminated poly(vinyl monomer) to an alkyl (meth)acrylate and copolymerizing them is applied, by hot melting, to a substrate in the form of tape or sheet, and is irradiated with an ionizing radiation. By using said macromonomer, the graft copolymer constituting the adhesion can crosslink at a dose smaller than that in a conventional process, a cohesive force necessary as a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet can be imparted, and good adhesiveness, transparency and aging resistance can be retained. There is also an advantage that it need not primer because the bonding force between the substrate tape or sheet and the adhesive can be increased by irradiation.
