PURPOSE:To obtain high corrosion resistance by depositing a 'Permalloy(R)' layer on both the front and rear faces or front face of a magnetic layer essentially consisting of iron. CONSTITUTION:The 'Permalloy(R)' layer 4 is deposited on both the front and rear faces or the front face of the ferromagnetic film 3 essentially consisting of iron and having a high saturation magnetic flux density and high magnetic permeability. Namely, no changes are given to the crystal structural and film structure of the magnetic film essentially consisting of Fe in spite of insertion of the 'Permalloy(R)' to the bottom end or the top layer of the magnetic pole film 3 if the film thickness of the 'Permalloy(R)' is <=500Angstrom . The deterioration in the soft magnetic characteristic thereof does not exist in such a case. The remarkable improvement in the corrosion resistance as compared to the case in which the 'Permalloy(R)' layer 4 is not inserted is thereby attained.
