PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus capable of applying sufficient processing to a yarn irrespective of the processing speed of the yarn, by using a fluid-ejection slit consisting of a constricted part and an adjacent tapered part, thereby enabling the increase of the fluid-ejection speed above the sound velocity. CONSTITUTION:The objective apparatus for the processing of a yarn is constructed of a fluid-ejection nozzle 18 composed of a constricted part 18a and an adjacent tapered part 18b. A yarn can be processed by the impact action applied to the yarn by the fluid ejected from the slit 18. The fluid-ejection nozzle 18 is preferably made of alumina ceramics, etc. |
