PURPOSE:To obtain a sensitive body having high sensitivity by incorporating a specified bisazo pigment as a carrier generating substance into a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A bisazo pigment represented by formula I is incorporated into a carrier generating layer in a photosensitive layer on an electrically conductive support. In formula I, A may be a compd. represented by formula II, X is an atomic group forming a heterocyclic arom. ring by condensation with a benzene ring, Y may be a compd. represented by formula III, Z is an atomic group forming a heterocyclic arom. ring by condensation with a pyrazine ring, and R is H, lower alkyl, aryl or the like. Since the bisazo pigment is used as a carrier generating substance, a sensitive body having superior sensitivity can be obtd. |
