PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency, by a method wherein two different one-way clutches are used, the number of revolutions of a polishing member is changed by a rotation direction, a one-way clutch is situated on a polishing member shaft, and the rotation format of the polishing member is decided by the rotation direction of an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:Two different one-way clutches 15 and 17, having different rotation transmission directions, are used between a main shaft 6 and a rotary body 18, and through location of a planetary gear device 11, the number of revolutions of a polishing member 7 can be changed by the rotation direction of the rotary body 18. The rotary body 18 contains a polishing member 7, and a one-way clutch 25 is mounted on a support shaft 22 having the polishing member 7. By deviating the axis of a support shaft 22 from the axis of an output shaft 6, the rotation format of the polishing member 7 is decided by the rotation direction of the output shaft 6. This constitution enables setting of an optimum polishing condition matching polishing of a surface to be ground, and enables sharp improvement of working efficiency. |
