PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive rubber composition which has excellent adhesiveness to a metallic material and is only lowly deteriorated even when used under severe conditions, by mixing a diene rubber with a specified triazine compound and a specified organic acid metal salt. CONSTITUTION:A diene rubber composition is prepared by adding 0.1-5pts.wt. 2-mercapto-4,6-dithiol-s-triazine (B) and 0.1-10pts.wt. at least one (C) of Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn and Ni salts of an organic acid selected from among naphthenic, octylic and tall acids. This rubber composition has good adhesion to a metallic material, and is scarcely deteriorated even when it is used for a long time, so that it is highly practicable as a rubber composition for use under severe conditions, and all of the components mixed are inexpensive and can be stably supplied. |
