Cooking of food products. The oven is characterised in that: - the cooking chamber is defined by a box structure 10 inside the casing with which it delimits a back compartment 16 and two lateral passages, - the box structure communicates via openings 14 with the passages and the compartment, - the gas burner 22 is located at the rear bottom part of a suction duct 18 opening out into the compartment, - and the fan 26 provides suction of the burnt gases from the duct and recycling suction of the cooking gases from the chamber.
