PURPOSE:To allow confidential functions and versatility to coexist with each other, by storing in advance a personal identification number in a memory IC for auxiliary storage. CONSTITUTION:An identification number is stored in advance in an auxiliary storage memory IC 4 by a signal A and a control signal (b) through an input/ output terminal 2 from an external equipment 1. In case of accessing this memory card, an identification number signal C is inputted to a coincidence circuit 6 by reading out the identification number stored in the auxiliary storage memory IC 4 by the signal A and the control signal (b) through the input/output terminal 2 from the external equipment 1. Subsequently, by inputting the identification number through the input/output terminal 2 from the external equipment 1, an identification number (a) is inputted to the coincidence circuit 6. When both of them coincide, a gate control signal (d) is inputted to a gate circuit 5, the gate circuit 5 becomes conductive, and a signal is sent and received between the external equipment 1 and a main storage memory IC 3 by the signals A, B and C through the input/output terminal 2. |
