<p>PURPOSE:To improve operability at the time of editing data, by extracting and displaying specific data, at the time of displaying the data on a display screen, and updating directly the original data, as well, at the time of updating the displayed data. CONSTITUTION:First of all, based on command information which has been inputted from a video terminal 1, a condition table 16 which has described a condition used at the time when a filter mechanism 13 extracts a data is generated. Subsequently, when a display data is fetched from a data storage area 8, only the data which coincides with the condition on the condition table 16 is extracted by the filter mechanism 13, this data and pointer information to the corresponding data on the data storage area 8 are stored in a virtual picture buffer 12, and only this data is displayed on the video terminal 1. On the other hand, at the time of updating the data, the data concerned on the buffer 12 is updated by a picture input/output part 5, and also, based on the pointer information on the buffer 5, the corresponding original data on the data storage area 8 is also updated.</p> |
