PURPOSE:To diversify a telephone set as a whole, to complete the function from both surfaces of hardware and software, and to meet the needs of a customer by changing and setting the service function of the telephone set with a magnetic card. CONSTITUTION:Into a magnetic card 1, the function changing signal of a telephone set is stored, and the contents are supplied through a card reader 2 and an interface part 3 to a storing part 5 under the control of a processor 4. Based on the function changing signal in the storing part 5, a function changing part 6 changes the service function of the telephone set. As the result, the changing of the message and the automatic transmission to a desired telephone number can be executed.
