摘要 PURPOSE:To speedily carry out warming by suppressing the advance angle operation even if an engine is cold, during the time from the start of the engine to the start of advance of a vehicle, in the constitution where the ignition timing is advanced by a prescribed quantity when the engine is cold. CONSTITUTION:During the engine revolution, an ECU 16 judges if the time is immediately after the turning-ON of an ignition switch or not, and if the judgement is 'YES', it is judged if the car speed detected by a car speed sensor 42 is below a prescribed value (e.g., 5 km/h) or not. If the result of judgement is 'YES', the ordinary ignition timing control is executed, if the car does not travel after the engine start. When the car speed exceeds a prescribed value, it is judged if the cooling water temperature detected by a water temperature sensor 40 is below a prescribed value or not, and if the judgement is 'YES', (in case of cold engine), a solenoid valve 30 is deenergized, and a distributor 10 is controlled through a vacuum advance mechanism 20, and the ignition timing is advanced by a prescribed quantity.
