PURPOSE:To preclude an error in measurement based upon convection and buoyance and to measure the accuracy of the measurement by coupling one arm of each of 1st and 2nd balance with each sample through a 1st or 2nd supporting lever and other arms are coupled by a coupling means. CONSTITUTION:The 1st balance 3 supported at a fulcrum 1 and the 2nd balance 4 supported at a fulcrum 2 are arranged crossing each other, one arm, 5 of the balance 3 is connected to the 1st supporting lever 9, and one arm of the 2nd balance 4 is connected to the supporting lever 10. Then a measured sample holder 11 and standard sample holder 12 are supported on the 1st and 2nd supporting levers 9 and 10 and material pans 13a and 14a provided on atop are put in a heating furnace 15. Then other arms of the 1st and 2nd balances 3 and 4 are connected by the coupling wire 22. Consequently, even if the sample and standard samples are applied with the same force owing to variation in convection and buoyance when heated, the force is canceled through the operation of the coupling wire 22, so fine weight variation is measured with high accuracy.
