PURPOSE:To improve operation efficiency by sticking the center part of an adhesive tape with a side face sticking roller on a base which is moved along the side edge of a board like body and, after that, sticking the tape under pressure with a pressing roller, a both-edge projecting roller, and a laterally pressing roller, and cutting the tape with a cutter. CONSTITUTION:A side face sticking roller 14 on a base 1 which is moved along the side edge of a board like body 2 is moved while sticking the center part of an adhesive tape 4 to the side face of the board like body 2 and, after that, a pressing roller 20 bonding the part under compression to the side face to ensure adhesion. Both side parts of the tape 4 are bent by the following two sets of hourglass-shaped rollers 38 and bonded under pressure to both sides of the board like body 2 with a pair of laterally pressing rollers 65 which are lastly provided. Thereby, the tape 4 is completely stuck to the side edge of the board like body 2 and, as the sticking operation is over, the rollers are removed out of the board like body 2 and the tape 4 which is pressed against the side face of the board like body 2 is cut off with a cutter 21. Accordingly, the sticking operation of the tape 4 can be nearly continuously carried out improving operation efficiency.
