PURPOSE:To execute a recording in an optimum aperture correcting quantity to always match with an input electric field strength by automatically changing a recording aperture correcting quantity in correspondence to the electric field strength of the input electric wave of a tuner. CONSTITUTION:An appropriate aperture correcting quantity determining means 11 determines the appropriate aperture correcting quantity based on the electric field strength of the input wave of a tuner 2. Next, an aperture correcting quantity control means 12 generates an aperture correcting quantity control signal based on the aperture correcting quantity determined by the determining means 11 and gives it to an aperture correcting circuit 13. The correcting circuit 13 controls a record amplifier 8 according to the given control signal and changes a record aperture correcting quantity. Thus, a recording is executed in the optimum aperture correcting quantity to always match with the input electric field strength.
