PURPOSE:To prevent opening of a closed door by directly holding the door in the open position and the close position by a lever connected to a tray holder. CONSTITUTION:A disk 10 is placed on a disk tray 7 and is stored in the depth of a tray holder 73 by the loading operation of a tray driving part and is set to the storage position. Thereafter, the tray holder 73 is lowered along a rise/fall guide part by the operation of holder driving, and the disk 10 placed on the disk tray 71 is lowered from the storage position to the set position and is set to a spindle motor. In this case, a lever 112 is turned in accordance with fall of the tray holder 73 to rotate a door 110 in such direction that the door 110 is closed, and the door 110 is held in the position, where an aperture part 12 is closed when setting of the disk is completed. Thus, the door which opens and closes a disk insertion hole is surely locked in the close position to prevent mischief from being done with the door 110 open during device operation.
