Device for purifying the exhaust pipe gases of motor vehicles. The polluting gases 1-2 coming from the exhaust pipe and from an input chamber 3 pass through a reservoir by curved openings 4-5 and open out into the bottom of a liquid where they bubble through 6-7 before escaping via an outlet chamber 8-9 and the end of the exhaust pipe to the atmosphere 10, once purified. <IMAGE>
