The invention relates to an improvement to the pipeline system of an installation for central cleaning by suction and more particularly to an improved electrical arrangement for this type of installation as well as the pipework connector resulting therefrom. In order to produce electrical continuity of the low-voltage conductors 3-3' located longitudinally on the suction tube 4-4', each connector 1 is provided, inside its sockets 2-2', with two half-rings 5-5' or 6-6' made from an electrically conducting material and connected together in pairs by a thin film 7-7' of an electrically conducting material laid on the outside of the connector. The electrical contact is provided when the tube-connector assemblies are stuck together either by the low-voltage conductors 3-3' of the tube pressing on the half rings 5-5' or 6-6', or by the insertion between the tube and the connector, at the joint, of a conducting metal tab producing pressure on the respective conductors of the tube and of the connector. The invention makes it possible to avoid the use of single-line self-contained conductors in the connector, the latter forming part of the said connector. <IMAGE>
